Jim & Heather Trail
Jim accepted Christ during the summer between his Sophomore and Junior year of high school. He attended Citrus College (A.A.), Azusa Pacific College (B.A.) and Talbot Seminary (M.Div. in Practical Theology). While attending college and seminary he served as a college intern at a local Baptist church.
Jim was a youth pastor for nine years, the associate director of a Christian camp in Southern California for twelve years and the Executive Director of a Christian camp in Arizona for eighteen years. He also serves on the board of directors for a Christian long term transitional program for homeless families. Jim married Heather in 1979 and they have three adult children. One of their sons is married and is raising two children. Jim and Heather now living in the Tyler Texas area.
Jim has joined Fishbowl Ministries because he realizes that camp directors and Christian ministry leaders face the same challenges as pastors concerning loneliness, discouragement and lack of prayer support. He envisions himself as someone not directly associated with their ministry who can give the leader freedom to share their concerns and prayer requests.
